PROCESS TESTING

Our analyses are conducted primarily on potable water, wastewater effluents, and recreational water. We will soon begin conducting microbiological analysis on food.

ANALYSIS AND CERTIFICATION OF SHIP BUNKERS

Analytical Technologies Limited provides the necessary analytical analyses to determine the relevant physical and chemical characteristics required by Inspection companies for the analysis and certification of ship bunkers.

Analyses would include: flashpoint, viscosity. pour point, metals, asphaltenes and several others.

The qualified staff and modern instrumentation allows us to generate a flexible, efficient, accurate and proficient testing service that would reflect in decreased costs, reduction on 'time-to-market' as well as help permeate the geographical, cultural and regulatory boundaries for our clients.

TOXICITY

At Analytical Technologies Limited we possess a well established toxicology unit, invested with modern equipment used in conducting testing services requested by our customers.

The unit specializes in testing mainly treated industrial wastewater effluents. Analyses performed are mainly that of an acute bioassay. These are short-term tests with duration of 96 hours and are carried out using freshwater or marine organisms, namely Metamycidopsis insularis (mysids).

The aim of the test is to determine if the organism is able to survive in the effluent as well as determine the (LC50) concentration that is lethal to 50% of the organisms.

The results of such analyses translate to the customer the impact of the release of such effluents on the natural waterway systems, its effect on the natural biological, chemical and biochemical pathways or the relevant pretreatment necessary for such effluents before its release into the system.

FOOD TESTING

Food testing services is yet another aspect of technology Analytical Technologies has invested into. Our company possesses the technical knowledge, skills and infrastructure to conduct analyses in the areas of Food Chemistry and Food Microbiology. In addition to our in house qualified professionals and technicians, Analytical Technologies liaise with qualified consultants in the field of Food Science so as to meet the demands of our clients.
